Harmonica part one

I got the harmonica at the end of July and immediately went on holiday for almost three weeks. Since I’ve been back home I’ve practiced for a couple of hours or more almost every day.

I’d thought the harmonica looked easy to play but it turns out that perception is VERY wrong. Its like every other musical instrument, (except the triangle) it requires work. There are many YouTube tuition videos to this effect.

I reckon I’ve put in between 10 and 15 hours playing time now and I can…

  • Hit single notes some of the time (but not all the time or all the notes)
  • Play some simple tunes from my book (sometimes less than terribly).

Lets see how we get on over the next few weeks.
